Guest guest
Nick,Waiting on results for adrenal test. Morning temps average around 95.3 afternoon usually between 96.5-97.6. They are all over the place. I cant believe the exhaustion, unbelievable! >The mornings are 10x worse than the night time. What can help the exhaustion?? >Liz > >TSH 1.130 (range 0.450-4.500) >Free T4 1.33(range 0.82-1.77) >Thyroxine T4 9.0 (range 4.5-12.0) >T3 Update 30 (range 24-39) >Free Thyroxine index 2.7 (range 1.2-4.9) >Free T-3 2.7 (range 2.0-4.4) Hypo, that needs to be top of range to feel best >reverse T3 261 (range 90-350) 2700/261 = 10.4 This needs to be 20 or more. You have FT3 issues and need to go T3 only >Thyroid Peroxidase (TBO) Ab 17 (range) 0-34 >Antithyrogglobulin Ab <20 (range 0-40) >Ferritin serum 40 (range 13-150) LOW You could start T3 at this level and take it very slowly but would need to supplement 150 to 200mg of elemental iron a day split in 2 doses with vitamin C with each to get this ferritin up to a minimum of 70 to be able to take the T3 dose you need to get up to. There is a pretty good chance that your adrenals are also depleted, have you taken an adrenal saliva test or checked temperature stability??? Post the adrenal results on the adrenal board when you get them They will recommend dose levels and timing of HC. Supplement iron at 150 to 200 of elemental iron a day split in two doses. Start T3 once your adrenals are supported to the extent of stable average temperatures and your ferritin has come up a bit. In 6 months time you will feel worlds better, you may well feel significantly better just from supporting adrenals. Nick
