Guest guest
Somehow the rest of my message got cut off the body of this message. My question is not directed at the adrenal group as I have just started a T3 only regimen and my body temperature is falling. I think you answered my question later by saying " perhaps you need to add some Isocort or HC cream " but my saliva test results do not appear. To properly treat RT3 do we not need to know and/or show the results of our cortisol tests? or is that result only applicable to adrenal fatigue and the adrenal group? Thank you for your time Nick and I will try to figure out the best way to ask questions but it isn't always obvious and I apologize. Guest guest
Kris, are you temps stable but falling? Sometimes temps fall because as you take t3, your t4 production shuts down and you have to keep increasing the t3 to make up for that. That is what Nick calls " chasing the decaying t4 " . If your temps are stable but falling, you may just need to keep increasing t3. If you are unstable temps, then that points to adrenal issues with taking the t3. Yes, adrenals fatigue figures into treating rt3, but you can post on the adrenal forum even if you are on t3 only. I know it says " Natural Thyroid Hormone Adrenals " but in truth everyone with adrenal issues posts there.
