Guest guest
In my own research I've learned and experienced myself that when the body is completely relaxed temps go down-this is part of what allows us to fall asleep. So, if you take an afernoon nap, your temp will not stay 98.6, but will drop somewhat-maybe to your normal basal. When you awake they will quickly rise again. With this being considered, I've noticed at work my temps have been averaging 98.6, but if I just lay around the house doing nothing on a day off, they may be lower-98F or so. Until I get up to do something like clean around the house and write this email in which my temps are now 98.6. So should I target 98.6F as my average temp when doing nothing? I do realize when really being busy temps may even hit 99F on some people-I'm not talking about that, I'm just talking about the difference between doing nothing and just fiddling around the house.
