I don't know exactly how they do this but my dentist

(Dr. Hites in Berkeley) used it when he evaluated my

filings. Take a look at the IAOMT web site - maybe

their dentists would be more likely to know about

this.

As long as you see a dentist who specializes in safe amalgam removal, this is

the first thing the dentist is likely to do. I'd be skeptical about working

with a dentist that didn't have this equipment.
