Well from what I understand it is an immune modulator, so it could have effects both in increasing immune response (which might include having more intense symptoms, such as the nasty cold you got), as well as knocking out some bugs much more easily (such as the cold you didn't get). I think over time those effects would even out. I don't know, actually, but I have a feeling that is how it is meant to work. I have the impression it might take some time and cause some ups and downs first (like antivirals). Which actually makes me reluctant to take it at all. The first time I ever took a whole capsule of Virastop I got a *bad* stomach flu. Yeck.
