Hi , my son is also allergic to soy and I was told to stay away from

lecithin by the allergists office cause its the same as soy. I am now

" Miss Betty Crocker " as so many of the products already made for this

GFCF diet contain soy. Also I contacted Barbaras about the " Barabras

Mashed Potato " flakes and they told me their mono and diglycerides in

their product are from soy. Just one more thing to make this diet so

easy !!!!!! LOL

Lecithin is very safe.

I take 1 tsp to 1 T lecithin per day. I take it in the morning with

my fish oil (lecithin acts as an emulsifier) and with vit E (the

antioxidants in the vit E decrease oxidation of the fish oil). These

are all oil soluble, so once a day is fine, more often is fine.

It is more important to spread the water soluble vitamins and minerals

to 3-4 times per day.
