Help with saliva test

Listmates,

I recently joined this group. I have been reading Andy's book and

recently completed Dignos-Techs, Inc. saliva test thru Canary Club.

I am needing some help to understand my cortisol and hormone results.

Cortisol

7-8am 29 elevated (ref. 13-24nM)

11-Noon 7 normal (ref. 5-10 nM)

4-6pm 3 normal (ref. 3-8 nM)

11-mid 6 elevated (ref. 1-4 nM)

Cortisol burden 45 (ref. 23-42)

DHEA 13 elevated (ref. 3-10 ng/ml)

How do I lower DHEA? My sleep has been disrupted with kids'

illnesses the past several weeks, as well as waking to dose on round

for myself and my son.

Saliva Thyroid Study

fTSH >600 High (ref. BOrderline high:86-120 nlU/mL)

fT4 0.25 normal (ref. 0.17-0.42ng/dl)

fT3 0.20 low (ref. borderline low 0.21-0.27)

TPO + (ref. normal -)

I have read that the saliva thyroid test is still undergoing

research. I have long had a goiter and typically have bloodwork done

to look at my thyroid annually. I went back to my doctor late last

week to have additional thyroid bloodwork completed (TSH, fT4 and

fT3, he too things that t3 reuptake is inaccuarate and he is also

running a complete antibody panel).

E2 25 (ref Luteal:7-20 pg/ml)

P1 215 (ref Luteal:65-500pg/ml)

TTF 19 (ref normal:8-20 pg/ml)

Does this indicate estrogen dominance? Would I benefit from more

Progesterone?

Thanks in advance for any assistance. Additional references

appreciated.

Sofia

Hi All

Can anyone have any ideas? I decided to get this done as my hair test

(#59)showed m adrenal are in an alarmed state.

My cortisol levels are on the high side in the evening and afternoon,

and my Testosterone and DHEA-s are high nearly all off the time, way

over the limit.

Salivary Testosterone

8am 2050 175-735 pmol/L

12pm 1100 175-735 pmol/L

4pm 1040 175-735 pmol/L

12am 450 175-735 pmol/L

Salivary Cortisol

8am 28.5 6.0 to 33 nmol/L

12pm 14.5 4.0 to 28 nmol/L

4pm 13.0 4.0 to 11.8 nmol/L

12am 5.0 1.0 to 5.0 nmol/L

Salivary DHEA

8am 33.7 4.0 to 29.0 nmol/L

12pm 29.4 2.5 to 13 nmol/L

4pm 35.8 2.0 to 6.0 nmol/L

12am 17.1 1.0 to 4.0 nmol/L

I have also started Armour but have difficulty trying to raise higher

than 1 1/2 grains as my hypothyroidism starts to get bad when i raise

higher than that and was wondering whether i need some isocort, HC or

some other adrenal support to help me out?

Many thanks

Russ
