Guest guest
Hi, I wanted to ask about my T3 ratios and wether or not I should continue taking Iodoral? FT3 360 (230-420) RT3 36 (11-32) TSH 4.92 (0.40-4.50) FT4 1.1 (0.8-1.8) Ferritin 26 How do I figure my ratios of FT3 and RT3? Is it good or bad? Should I continue taking Iodoral? My wellness doc has me on this? I currently take 10 mcg of slow release T3. I usually take 5mcg at 6:30am and second dose around 11:00 am. This doesne seem to be enough because i am so tired in the afternoon. I stopped taking cortisol 10mg because I had a bad reation to taking both T3 and cortisol together. I take Adrenal support Adaptocrine. I will be doing saliva test next week to check adrenal function. Any suggestions? Thanks, Cheree
Guest guest
FT3 360 (230-420) RT3 36 (11-32) TSH 4.92 (0.40-4.50) FT4 1.1 (0.8-1.8) Ferritin 26 Wel it si hard to say if ti is the iodine or the low ferritin causing it but your RT3 is WAY too high, I would stop it and all T4 meds and go to just T3. With lots of iron. 150-200mg elemental iron daily. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
