Guest guest
The sore throat started about 2 days ago... probably is an infection. I've been on 2gr of Armour for a couple of months (or a month) I'm not sure. Started feeling crappy last week... on Saturday I stayed in bed until 2 in the afternoon. I've been completely exhausted and having a lot of fibromyalgia pain. Tonight I've got insomnia. I've been lying in bed awake for the past hour and decided to get up... it's 3 a.m. I've also had the bloating for the past couple of weeks, but tonight noticed that my left ankle was swollen again. Yes, my mother died from complications of adult onset diabetes. I don't know what else I can tell you. Tigger Re: Advice please! Tigger, I had a sore throat that was in my bronchial tubes a few weeks ago, and felt like crap. It was an infection. Maybe yours is the same?? Tell us when the crappy feeling started. When did the sore throat start? The bloating? And how much Armour were you on when the above started? Do you have diabetes in your family? etc. Janie > Hi, > I've been feeling so awful lately. I'm on 2.25 gr of Armour and I feel like crap. I'm bloated, have a sore throat that hurts all the way down my bronchial tubes, feel weak, and still have a constant dry mouth even though I'm drinking water. > > Anyone have any ideas? I'll admit that I've probably picked up some kind of virus, but my ankles are still swelling and I still feel bloated. > > ? Anyone? I really wanted to be able to tell my doctor that I was doing better. > > Tigger >
Guest guest
>>I've been on 2gr of Armour for a couple of months (or a month)<< I would think it is a bug, but I also think you could increase your meds a little at this point. Being hypo will not help you fight off infection, in fact once I got feeling really good on my thyroid meds I hardly ever get sick anymore. Well except my teeth, but that's another story. The swelling does sound like hypo symptoms and 2 grains is still pretty low dosage. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
>I looked at my health diary where I track my temperatures and the problem is consistently worse on Saturday, so that made me think about what I don't do on Saturday, I don't take Ashwanghanda or Tyrosine because they are powders that I put in a smoothie, so it is obvious to me I do need some support. Looks like it's trying to tell you something >Would you recommend a full course of Isocort or only midday when my cortisol is low? In other words should I restart my 4-3-2-1 dosing and see if my temps stay more stable? What about Rhodiola? I am having trouble believing I need the adrenal support because I feel so much better on T3 (fogginess is gone and my irregular heartbeat is so much better) but my body temperatures seem to indicate otherwise. I'm not experienced enough at adrenals to make dosing suggestions, you could ask the adrenal group or try it both ways and see The adrenal group is http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Their FAQ Web site is here http://faqhelp.webs.com/ Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
