Guest guest
Forgot to say he is taking phosphatidylserine 100mg 3x per day per Val's suggestion to lower cortisol (has only been taking for about 10 days). Guest guest
He REALLY needs to address the high glucose! He is Diabetic! High glucose is a sonstant stressor on thehwole body but particuarly the organs. It will cause high cortisl which then causes more high glucose. Getting the glucose down to normal levels is imperative. He needs to see a good Diaetic dictor , if one can be found. At the very least he shoudl be on a low glycemic low carb high fat diet. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
Yes, but I know any doctor he sees will only follow the ADA guidelines. The thing is that he does not eat much sugar or high glycemic index carbs and he is not overweight in the least so i'm trying to figure out what is causing this high glucose level. any thoughts on the DHEA? thanks, Liz > > He REALLY needs to address the high glucose! Guest guest
The DHEA is high trying to balance out the high cortisol. Even if they follow the ADA guidelines it is better than wher ehe is at. That high a fasting number is MUCH igher and doign damage when he eats. It takes WORK to eat low cab/low glycemic, I doubt he is doing that on his own. I used to think I did until i got a glucose meter! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
