Guest guest
Your schedule will prevent most doctors as they go by the ranges which are for AM levels. As this is not AM FOR YOU, it is not the levels where you should be. To treat basically you would juts replace what ever hormones are low same as ofr AF but most lielly you will need more hormones such as Florinef. And possibly sex h0ormones too. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Hi Sherielle-We are very similar. I just had the tests done and am also waiting for Chris. My base cortisol was 14.5 and almost doubled at 27. My ACTH is 18. The response from the doc. was " normal response " and I was in range with the ACTH....great. sweetwulfie wrote: Hello, I have finally had all the blood tests done, it only took eight months to find a doctor that would do the ACTH stim and aldosterone and renin.I worry about having a hypo-pit problem. I have an app. with the doc that did the ACTH, thyroid , aldosterone and renin tests on mon the 18th of feb. Im sure she will try to push synthroid on me she talked about it the first time I saw her, she dosent like armour. I dont think I have the " full " ranges for the thyroid tests. I will ask about those ranges when I see her, I will print what I have for the thyroid tests. I was salt fasting, and did not take armour night before the tests. Can someone please look and tell me whats going on with these . Am I hypo- pit?, what is going on with my adrenal glands, am I primary or secondary? Do I need to up my thyroid med? And do I need isocort or HC? Can I figure out whats is going on from these tests? I dont think I would be able to get the doc to run any more , I feel lucky that she did these. What ever is going on , I guess I will have to self treat because the doctor thinks everything is " normal " . ****ALL THESE TESTS WERE TAKEN IN THE A.M., WHICH IS MY EVENING BECAUSE OF SHIFT WORK.***( hope that dosent make it harder to figure out.) ------------------------------------------------ *Blood Work Jan-18-08*= (Thyroid Studies) TSH 0.885,...RANGE.... 0.350 T-3 89,.....RANGE... 60-18 FREE THYROXINE 1.0...
