Sublingually is usually absorbed a lot better than pills because it has a

direct route to your bloodstream. However, I do think patches would be the

best absorbed.

Do you have a link for a good patch that others might want to try?

Good Evening, Val, I've been on sublingual B12 4to5 months now, and after

reading how little is actually absorbed in some people, am wondering if the

B12 patches are worth the extra money. Supposedly 90% of the patch is

absorbed.

Thank's to anybody for any information.

I take B12 injections and I take 5 mgs. folic acid per day which might sound

like a high dose but really isn't. It's very helpful for high estrogen and also

keeping homocysteine levels down.

Yes, the-link is listed below: I hvben't ordered yet- maybe I can persuade

Swanson's to handle it, as I now take their sublingual Bl2. Also I do take

folic acid 400 mg.

Nil,

Long term you need to balance all of your b vitamins,

as taking only a few in high doses will make the other

deficient.

In the U.S.A. B- complex is deficient in Folic acid (gov. keeps it at 400

mcg)

and Biotin as it is expensive so they do not add enough.

My understanding from multiple docs and sources is that oral B-12 is

the least effective way to take it. The most effective is to inject

it and, after that, sublingual. When I was taking oral supplements I

was taking, I think 250mg. I'm not sure why you would want to take as

little as 1mg of any of these vits?
