Guest guest
Low cortiosl may be the cause of allergies that wiht sufficient cortilsl you no longer have. I would hold at the 25mg LONGER and then after maybe a month or even two try lowering further,. Sometines adrenals are r really slow to pick back up. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
I'm not sure, but I would guess that you may be allergic to something and the HC is suppressing the allergic reaction, but that is a complete guess. I don't know if that is possible at the dose you are on since it is really replacing the cortisol your body isn't making ot extra. Val, any thoughts? Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Guest guest
Sounds familiar! I was diagnosed with severe food allergies to lots of food in Oct 06 (including beef, pork, walnuts, almonds, green beans, green peppers, onions, and you name it. Since starting on HC a few months ago, I have NO food allergies. I eat ANYTHING I want and never need to take an antacid. Guest guest
Thanks, but I have been on 25 mg a long time. I would guess about 4 months if not longer. This is the second time I've tried to lower and the hives started. Dana G > > Low cortiosl may be the cause of allergies that wiht sufficient cortilsl > you no longer have. Guest guest
Well THAT is why you canntp get off HC. With your thyrodi being low it puts SO MUCH stress on your adrneals they don;t have a prayer. You need to stay on adrenla support until you get the thyroid OPTIMAL then try to wean off. Wening off wih ta still low thyroid will only crash them again. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
