Guest guest
Pam, that is a good point that maybe the 15% is those that actually follow-up with a 2nd band. 15% is the only number our CT (AZ) gave us. Our son started with 8mm assymetry and outgrew his band in 8 weeks which made him finish at 3mm. To me, it seems like 5mm wouldn't cause one to outgrow the band. If they didn't say he outgrew it, I would have kept him in it longer. Don't get me wrong, we got good correction and I was very pleased but there is such a discrepancy when I hear other babies recieving a lot more correction before outgrowing it. > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > I still dont know what to do for which band to put in. > > > I was > > > > > > convinced I was going to do the DOCband, until we saw Dr > > > Vicari at > > > > > > Childrens and he told me that the STARband is better because > > > it comes > > > > > > down further in the back to help the Brachy, and has more foam > > > to cut > > > > > > away.
