Guest guest
I have found that my ability to deal with stress is zero being mercury poisoned. How do you all do this? If my cat is sick I can't function or if someone in the family is ill. I worry about everything and I don't trust doctors or dentists since they put this stuff in my mouth and deny it. How do you get throught this??? BJ
Guest guest
It helped me once I realized that stress makes ALL of the symptoms worse. I came to the conclusion that I HAD to calm down and relax in order to get better. Stress is as bad an enemy as mercury itself. Two other things helped me... 1) Once you begin the process of mercury removal and chelation, stress should start to get better. I still have moments when I feel stress or anxiety, but my ability to deal with them is phenomenally better. My emotions are in control, and I don't overreact to things anymore-- I credit the chelation with this drastic improvement. Also, as long as you know the paranoia and mood swings are part of the illness, it gives you a leg up to fight them. You have to keep that in mental check at all times: " Is this me talking or my illness talking? " 2) I know that meditation has helped also me tremendously. I never understood it before my " heavy metals adventure " , but my naturopath encouraged me to meditate daily as part of my chelation. When I meditate, I have positive visualizations about getting better and about all aspects of my life. This helps so much that I know I will continue to meditate for the rest of my life. Try setting aside a half an hour a day to think positively about your life. It's helped me to have much better days! Live one day at a time. Don't think too much about the past or the future. Try to look for the positive in every situation and in every person. Listen to music (and inspirational CDs) that uplift you. Go for short walks. Deep breathing. Talking it over with people that you trust. Prayer and meditation. Be thankful about all that you have. Laugh. Avoid negative angry people. > If my cat is sick I can't function or if > someone in the family is ill. I worry about everything Yes, I know what it's like. > and I don't > trust doctors or dentists Not surprising. There are some who are very kind and helpful (like the dentist that removed the amalgam from my mouth and the doctor who has been treating me in recent years). I really think that I found these people through prayer and meditation. Even when we find a 'good' one we have to take responsibility to check up on everything ourselves to be sure.
