Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of Patulous Eustachian Tube Dysfunction? Its rare a physical disorder/disease of the tube that connects the back of the nose to the ear canal. The tube functions as a pressure valve for the outside ambient air as well as the ear in the middle ear. This function is best noticed at high altitudes, etc, where the pressure built-up on the outside is controlled through a pop in the middle ear relieving this pressure. As a sufferer of this disease, I breathe through my left ear and it pops upon inhale and exhale. There is also a constant fullness/dryness, in and around the ear/head. Does anyone believe this is a symptom of mercury poisoning and/or something else? Thanks for the help,
Guest guest
, I started having trouble with my left ear 'blocking up' inside on & off starting about age 14. A doctor called it a " blocked eustachian tube " and said it was ok and that nothing could be done. It did 'pop' going in and out & was an extremely annoying situation. It made it very hard to listen to others. I think it was sensitive to humidity (? never quite sure what set it off) and it almost always would block up for hours when I worked out or got a hard sweat going. I don't remember associating it with altitudes. I'm responding because this opened up, I assume permanently, right after the fillings were removed on that side of my mouth...and this was over 30 years after it started. The ear had also been ringing constantly for decades. This symptom continued, and I hadn't been hearing well through it, either. During the 2nd chelation round where I took low doses of ALA I had sharp ear pains one afternoon. Within a few hours, the ringing stopped and I'm hearing clearly with it. Guest guest
> Has this rubberband/dullness/numbness/pressure effect on the head > gone away for anyone doing chelation? > Before knowing about mercury toxicity, I was managing this & some other symptoms on my own with really rigorous workouts (running 45 minutes) for about a decade. After a few years, it was taking 20 minutes to start sweating, even in 90 degree temps, but sweat was what seemed to relieve it. The workouts felt good, but it wasn't long before I'd collapse for the rest of that day and the next. Eventually I was too weak to keep it up. Once my amalgams were out, the 'rubberband' headache/pressure subsided. When I take low doses of ALA, it returns with a vengeance, so I think chelating with ALA will be a very slow process. Guest guest
Does this ringing get worse when your sick ? Ive had a very wierd experience when i was sick and taking a bath with my ears under water and i could literally play music by hitting my ears softly. Alot of strange metallic sounding bells went off and it was kind of funny. Is this mercury ?
