I am from Yorkshire in the UK and i am a mummy to 2 little monkeys and Jenson i have just found out my son Jenson 5 months has plagiocephaly. I thought Jensons head shape looked a bit odd around 3 weeksbut everyone just said it was normal and it would round out but to me it seemed to be getting worse. So with no help from my doctor i took matters into my own hands and consulted a specialist. He told me Jenson had something called Plagiocephaly and it would be fine his hair will cover it up if i grew it and it may even pop out as he grows! So as soon as home i looked it up and i was horrified. He had not told me anything i was reading. It was really too late to use repo but i am doing the best i can at this late stage. Me and my husband did some reserch and lots of thinking and found a private clinic (the uk health service does not fund this treatment!) not too far away STARBAND and i have an appointment on tuesday for a consultation with Steve Mottram so we will see what happens from there. Its all happened so quick and i have never heard of this before even though i have seen plenty of babys with the same thing. I feel i have no support as i know no one who is in the same situation so i hope this is going to do the trick lol!
