Guest guest
With Vit A/Carotenes, it's hard to know how to convert mg's to IU's to get correct dosages. Is there a resource for this or a quick rule of thumb to follow? If my hands & feet tend to turn orange from eating lots of carrots/orangish vegetables, is this sign to keep this type of supplement lower (I think it relates to low thyroid activity)? Also, is it normal for some supplements to create very dark urine, i.e., B-6? I believe that's the connection in my case. Are there distinct things to watch for that would suggest issues with kidneys? I hadn't been taking some of the supplements at the higher dosages recommended and am working at bringing them up. Thanks, Joanne
