Family Care Council Membership

OK, so all know-your child does not have to be an adult, you do not need to be a senior citizen, and your child does not have to be receiving services through the Med Waiver-you can be on the waitlist and be an active member/consumer/stakeholder for all of your children’s future. I you do not already know, Governor has made a proclamation that if he does not have 10-15 new applications for EACH area in the state of Florida-he is going to cease the Family Care Council from existing. This Council is our direct link to funding/accountability and not the least SUPPORTING ALL families who are on the waitlist needing services. If we do not get our shit together, we deserve what “we don’t get”-which will be supported living for our loved ones, community and home based-and instead our kids will ROT after we are gone(or not) in institutions. This is not a scare tactic, this is very real folks and it can and will happen if we do not stay strong.FILL IT OUT and SEND IT IN! Sherry

I got it and printed it. Whew! Its alot of papers. Its a gubernatorial appointment and when I sent it in a few years back for another appointment they also did a credit check inquiry which I was not told about (not that it mattered) but it did lower my credit by a few points.
