Is this a big issue during the day, or are you mostly worried

about it at night? Many people find they can use DMSA and ALA

4 hourly during the night, although you'll want to stick with

3 hourly for the combo during the day.

I don't think it would be recommended to change the dose timing

when you drop the ALA.

TK--- 3hr unless you [very] gradually extent the time

I'd be able to stay on round a lot longer if I could go back to the

4 hour

TK--- a personal choice for you which may work ok, not recommended

unless one does it gradually though as it will increase redistribution

just going from 3hr to 4hr dosing - this could really cause problems

for more sensitive people.

Hi and thanks for your response. What I don't understand is

that, if you can take DMSA on its own every 4 hours, and you can take

it with ALA at night every 4 hours, why can't you take it every 4 hours

when you stop the ALA?

There are plenty of people who have done 4 hour intervals of

DMSA/ALA at night and done okay with that. There are also plenty

of people who have done DMSA alone every 4 hours for a full round

and done okay with that.

There is no track record as to how people do with changing dose

intervals in the middle of a round, so no basis for a recommendation.

TK--- you can, you just have more redistribution when you go from 3hr

to 4hr, some people will be able to do this as they do for night

dosing, some it will cause problems for.
