Guest guest
i'm wondering what you opinions are on this situation. in april 1998, before i new all info about amalgam toxicity, i had an old chipped amalgam filling removed with no precautions and replaced with resin in tooth #30. i had problems with pain in that tooth for about a year after the filling. it was after this that my symptoms increased, resulting in disability, not been able to work since may 2002. about a year ago i suddenly had severe pain in that same tooth, which dentists thought might be " cracked tooth syndrome " but pain went away by itself after about 3 weeks. i noticed that this tooth has a gray shadow under the resin, and i asked 3 dentists if it's possible there is some amalgam left under the replacement resin. the dentist who replaced it said, no way. two other holistic dentists said it's possible there is some amalgam left under the resin. as i mentioned in earlier memo, with stephen buhner's herbal lyme protocol i've been able to improve symptoms and stabilize enough so that since feb 27, i was able to have the first and second quadrants of my amalgams safely removed! that's huge step for me. if all goes well, i'll have all my amalgams removed by end of april and then begin cutler chelation. i realized that the last quadrant of amalgams for removal does not include tooth 30 for replacement. i asked my holistic dentist, and this is his response: he is able to detect a " very, very tiny speck of amalgam under the resin. it's his opinion that it is not best to remove that resin filling at this time. removing the filling would cause more trauma to the tooth. " so, my question is, does it seem safe to start chelating while knowing that there may be a " very, very tiny speck of amalgam " still in one tooth? by May, i plan to start chelating very low and slow. wondering, kendra
