Smoking and Chelation

I know many of you will freak even at the thought of smoking :-)

But what does someone do who is addicted to smoking and chelates.

Obviously it is not advised and I'm certain you would be bringing lots of metals

into your body while smoking, but without judgement calls does anybody have any

remarks about this and how smoking will affect chelation?

I ask because a colleague of mine that is chelating smokes. He has done well on

the DMSA, but the ALA has knocked him badly with each attempt.

Could it be that the ALA carries metals into the brain while smoking cigarettes?

Does anybody on this list smoke?

Thanks,

Dean
