Guest guest
This is why we need monitors (cameras) in our kids classrooms. Guest guest
There is a law in florida that forbid the use of camera..etc. This NEEDS to change....our children needs protection. In other state....the use of cameras in classroom is legal. This is what we need here..... Guest guest
Unfortunately, the set up is ripe for abuse. The kids are non-verbal and unable to communicate to their parents, they are being abused. The job in itself is stressful. Teachers are not properly trained to work with autistic kids. One of my boy's teachers was a social worker prior to being hired as an ESE teacher....BAD IDEA. She had a meltdown in the class, and put a restraint hold on my son for a half an hour. The aide didn't show up that day, and she just lost it. The principal walked in and told her to stop. We had an emergency meeting, and the teacher was fired. This crap happens way too often. We need monitors to prevent situations like this. >>>>Subject: Dad releases audio of teachers allegedly bullying autistic son>To: sList >Date: Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 12:36 PM>>>> >>http://now.msn.com/now/0424-teacher-bullies-autistic-boy.aspx>>unbelieveable! i do not know what I would do if this was my son>>>>>>
