Guest guest
Hi, Although I'm not going to start counting grams, etc., I'm not sure where you're getting your Mannatech pricing. If a person prefers to take the Advanced Ambrotose capsules, the Associate price is $39.95 for 120 capsules. Although they are saying the capsules contain the essential monosaccharides, I personally wouldn't go for it, especially since all the research (over 25 years, I believe) showed that aloe vera was loaded with the 8 essentials, and more recently, a particular seaweed had even more. I know that Mannatech is very selective about quality and the seaweed used in their advanced formula comes from the least affected water (can't remember if it was near Australia or New Zealand somewhere - sorry, too tired to refresh on this info). As for me, I've been taking Mannatech supps for 2 years now and they have proven their quality to me in some very big ways (which has never happened with any other supplement of any kind that I've taken, and man, I've taken a LOT). I have total faith in their products as far as quality control and their processes, and I'll tell you something that has made me a believer in an even bigger way (which I didn't think was even possible): My neighbor's husband (only 45 years old), has a brain tumor and had a stroke in January. I told her about Mannatech glyconutrients at that time, but wasn't going to push her about it. Then 3 weeks ago he had another mild stroke, so I called her again, only this time I wouldn't let her forget. She was totally for it, but her husband was too depressed and negative (who could blame him?!). Fortunately, 4 days ago she got him to want to try it; he was thinking more positively. He took a large dose that night, next day was the first day he felt " good " since January. The next day all the scaly grey skin he had from below his navel to above his knees was normal again and his eyes and face were " bright " . Then yesterday, his shakes were completely gone, he didn't need assistance getting out of bed, didn't need a walker, and straightened up his room himself. She said his cognitive ability was normal again, he was his typical " sharp " self. She said he was licking the grains from the bottle when it ran out and couldn't wait for her to bring him more tonight. I can't tell you how excited I am about this, and he's going to be taking large amounts through the week before his MRI. I have high hopes, because this stuff has been known to help the body function so highly, tumors shrink. I've heard of so many other people seeing remarkable results like this, but this is the first time I'm experiencing it first hand. As for me -- my trust is in Mannatech, and I'm not playing games with other copycats. I guess that's all I can say about that subject! lol : Donna glyconutrients/Immune health Posted by: " Cochran " Ladyshrink111@... ladyshrink111 Wed May 2, 2007 12:31 pm (PST) Related to the discussion concerning glyconutrients and immune system health I am reporting that there is a new product from www.beyond-a- century.com called glyconutrients, 90 capsules for 18.75. Like the Mannatech product this supplement contains the 8 essential sugars although I have been told that it is weaker than the Mannatech product. But even if you had to triple the dose it would still be considerably less expensive. Maybe someone who is familiar with Mannatech products can let us know how it compares. Guest guest
Ambrotose may be good, and seems to help some people but not others, but it is the dang " program " that you have to buy into (unless you have a fortune to spend)....just another MLM / Network marketting thing. Myself, if I decide to take the stuff again and see if it does anything this time, I will make my own, using Carrington Laboratories Mannapol (main ingredient that Mannatech uses in their proprietary formula, and has a contract with Carrington Laboratories to get) and add in the other ingredients myself, (minus the one I have trouble with).....saves abou 90% of the cost. I have the lists of ingredients and some of their patent disclosures...... ~Inga
