Guest guest
When we had this problem, we contacted the following to request a hearing. The problem was solved prior to the hearing even being scheduled. The Division of Administrative Hearings, Florida Department of Administration http://www.doah.state.fl.us/ALJ/ Best of luck, Glenda > > Can anyone help with information regarding what is blatently breaking the law? > My friend's child is in Kindergarten after going to PLACE for Preschool. His current school was supposed to have all his testing done and the IEP meeting was supposed to be held ON OR BEFORE December 18th, 2011. There has been no meeting yet and it is May 17th, 2012. Everytime the mom asks the ESE specialist about it, she just says. " oh I have to check and see if everyone is finished with their testing. " > If this school year ends with no meeting and no IEP in place for 1st grade, who and where does the mom go? I KNOW this is against the law but can anyone tell me how to handle this? >
