dear friends,

i had the last of my amalgams removed april 25. i'm planning to start

chelation per andy's protocol with dmsa by may 20. between now and then, i'm

trying to determine if there is anything more i need to do to support

thyroid and adrenals. linda gave me some initial ideas and suggested i post

more info from tests and ask andy if he had time to review. any suggestions

are appreciated to help make chelation smoother.

in 2004, a doc said i had symptoms of low thyroid (fatigue, low body temp,

etc) so tried me on low dose of amour thyroid. i felt like i had energy

during part of the day that was " forcing " me to stay active, i could not

rest or sit, felt compelled to keep moving. then my body would CRASH. felt

like putting jet fuel in an old model T car--my body was not strong enough

to handle the energy. so doc said stop the amour.

hormones: i had ovaries and uterus removed at age 29, in 1981.

in january 2007, i started hormones in gelatin troche compounded:

progesterone 175mg; estriol 1mg; estradiol 0.125mg; estrone 0.125mg;

testosterone 0.125mg; pregnenolone 25mg. 1 troche in eve 1/2 troche in morn.

last month i started taking Herb Pharm eleuthero tincture (per

Buhner's protocol for lyme), which i understand can help adrenals. but so

far, i notice pattern of one day having few hours of more energy than

normal, so i do more than normal, then crash later in day. next day, very

weak and far less energy than normal, can't do anything. this repeats. i'm

taking 4 dropperfuls once a day at noon when i get up.

i happen to have a bottle of Ortho molecular Ortho adrene forte that my doc

prescribed last fall, but i did not start due to too many other things

happening. would this be good to use while chelating?

i have late-stage neurological lyme disease (and other chronic conditions),

plus was re-infected with lyme on april 3, so i cannot take any steriods

(all steriods are contradindicated with lyme). i'm already taking about 38

supplements and herbs, so not eager to add any more.

gratefully,

kendra
