DID YOU KNOW that UM-NSU CARD is expanding its Adult/Transition Division? is Bitting will be joining our team on June 1st and Dr. Lynette Estrada will be joining our team on July 1st. We are excited to have them both on board. Brief bios for each of them are below: is Bitting earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Miami. She will be working as a Transition Case Worker in our Division of Transition and Adult Services in our North Miami Beach office. She will use her knowledge and enthusiasm to assist teens and adults with transition planning and resources by working in cooperation with their families, schools, employers, and other stakeholders in the community. Dr. Lynette Estrada received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Liberty University. She went on to obtain her Master's degree in Varying Exceptionalities from Nova Southeastern University and in 2010 she completed her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Walden University. She worked for the Miami-Dade County Public school system as a special education teacher for 14 years. She is the parent of two children, one of whom is diagnosed with autism. She will be working in our Coral Gables office as a bilingual Transition Caseworker in our Division of Transition and Adult Services.
