If you spend lots of time going from doctor to doctor you will notice that they use words like 'high probability' and 'suspect'. These words are used in case there are other problems going on. In the case of doctors, they don't want to get sued if they miss something. Over the internet, it is not possible to get a full picture of what is going on with the person. Meeting the counting rules is enough of a sure thing to start removing amalgams (safely). Removing amalgams is a good thing anyway because removal will stop the constant daily exposure from leakage. Once amalgams are removed and sources of exposure stopped (no thimerosal containing vaccines for example, and no high mercury fish) then side effects with a trial of chelation will confirm toxicity. > When I think about some of > the low elements I wonder if it's just due to poor diet and not nec > mercury poisoning...I know, DENIAL. I had lots of deep fillings and my dentist was able to replace them with composite (he is highly skilled). It did cost me a lot of money but it was getting to the point where the mercury poisoning was (is) a threat to my life. >My state of health has left me unable to work and > living off my boyfriend for the past year and a half. It is a good idea to avoid supplements containing copper. Since mineral transport is deranged the high chromium might not be meaningful. More detail in Andy's hair test interpretation book. You will most likely be able to feel a huge improvement in symptoms with diet, supplement and medications that are relevent to your situation. Details in Andy's " Amalgam Illness " book (and members of this group can help you to understand things because we have been working on these things for years).
