Taurine does not provoke sulfur food reactions because of the arrangement of the S in the taurine molecule. See my post to Dean about other S containing molecules. If you look at the structure of taurine here: http://www.3dchem.com/molecules.asp?ID=22 you will see that the S is 'protected' by being surrounded by 3 Os and a C and therefore is not free to interact with mercury. Andy talks about the **many** beneficial role of taurine in his " Amalgam Illness " book. He also says that **some** mercury poisoned people can't tolerate it because of defective metabolism. You would likely be able to tell by increasing supplementation and holding other things constant.
