Guest guest
Hi Kazimiera, Medicaid is available only as an income-based program to children who are living below poverty level, and to those lucky enough to be on the Home and Community Based Services Waiver (Medwaiver). The waitlist for Medwaiver services is approximately 20,000 at this point. Sorry that the news is not better. Guest guest
I don't know if this will help but if you could get on Florida Kid Care HMO plan like CMS or Amerigroup, I think some of these services are covered, at least that's what I've beentold by my son's therapy center. We are also stressed about cost for services.
Guest guest
Hi; The one requirement for Kidcare is that the child be uninsured. If you have coverage for him that is affordable he will not qualified. In order to get on CMS you have to qualify for Medicaid which is based on the parent's income. Sorry. United Healthcare Foundation provides grants up to $5000. Google and there is an application process you should check out.
