Guest guest
I am going to start chelating my two children aged 16 and 13 years soon. As their metabolism is naturally quicker than us oldies, should I then use the 3 hourly regime for the DMSA? Personally I have found significant improvements since changing from 4 hourly to 3 hourly. It's always ok to set the dosing interval at something less than the half life, as long as you are consistent. Half life is an average and will be slightly different in different people. Kids in the autism mercury group are generally ok with dosing DMSA every 4 h. When ALA is added it is necessary to use a 3 h or less interval anyway.
