" I do suggest working on the malabsorption indicated by the all low

test because that is very likely to contribute to imbalance or

deficiency. I did not work on this very hard at first - only took

digestive enzymes and ascorbic acid, which did not help. Now I am

taking betaine HCL, but haven't done any testing yet to see if

mineral levels have improved. "

I have been doing digestive enzymes too. I am switching to ascorbic acid,

because I am muscle testing weak for the Ester-C that I have been taking for

many months. I actually tested weak to almost every vit. C supplement in our

store, except for a few that all contained rose hips. Interesting, huh?! I

didn't have good luck with HCl last summer. My MD told me to start taking apple

cider vinegar with each meal. I just need to start doing it! Being a blood type

A, I probably need it. I just really don't drink with meals and haven't gotten

into the habit of taking it yet. I better do it. What else can I do for

absorption- l-glutamine? I eat dairy and gluten free, because I have to. I take

a good probiotic daily too.

" the main

distinction is copper toxicity causes bigger PMS issues for

women. If you have PMS, think copper. "

I have mild PMS. Some months I don't have it at all. Some months I do a bit. For

some reason I am having breast tenderness since I chelated last week, and I am

not even close to menstruating. I don't know what that is about...Hmmm, higher

levels of copper can produce higher levels of estrogen, which can lead to breast

tenderness. Does that sound right? Maybe the round took too much zinc from me.

" Muscle testing weak can mean you are not absorbing or using these

well. Did you test weak or strong to copper? (Do it double-blind.) "

Guess what?! Yesterday I had a lady at work test me for zinc picolinate, and I

tested strong. It wasn't double blind, and I went into it thinking, " this will

be weak. " The zinc I have been taking is zinc gluconate. I just found an article

this morning on PubMed, which says the picolinate was much better absorbed in

people than the gluconate form. I did test strong for copper too, though. Maybe

I need both. I will talk with my MD about it, and switch zinc in the meantime.

When I take the zinc status, I can taste it in less than 10 seconds, so I am not

likely that deficient. This was a couple months ago, and I still continued to

take 75 mg daily since then. I don't have any symptoms for zinc excess or

deficiency.

" Look at symptoms of copper deficiency and excess. Also look at

symptoms of zinc deficiency and excess. "

I don't really have any of these symptoms. Fatigue I have, but honestly that is

so much better since starting HC and Armour. I actually feel really good many

days now!

My balance must be off though. I will see if the MD thinks I should be tested.

" With an all-low hair test, you might want to look at a multi-min

supplement (such as Biotics Multi-Mins or VRP Advanced Essential

Minerals). "

I am taking Thorne's multi. Since it is a 6/day, I think it has plenty of

minerals. I take a cal/mag supplement in addition to this (and zinc and

molybdenum). I will look into those multi-mins and compare.

Thanks, !
