Maybe something similar would help zn/cu. You might want to consider NAET at some point. It is not just good for allergies, but can be used to help your ability to absorb and use minerals, and for just about any " sensitivity " you can think of. Not everyone has good luck with it, but has helped me a lot. I seem to be sensitive to energetic therapies and benefit quickly from most I have tried. > " Your previous post said you were > experiencing fatigue, which can simply be a redistribution side > effect, so is not necessarily due to the zinc/copper imbalance. " > > Yeah, the fatigue came when I ended the round. It seems to be a little better today. I did have some slight dizziness while on the round, and yesterday morning after taking the extra zinc. Maybe they aren't related. The fatigue after a round often clears up in a day or two. Again, this sounds consistent with redistribution. Not sure why taking the zinc would have caused dizziness. I used to get dizziness and nausea together when I had gastritis. You probably do have some degree of stomach issues, as evidenced by the all low hair test. > " Mercury toxic people are often copper toxic and this is the > likely source of the imbalance. The way to address this is > take lots of zinc, no copper. " > > I have been taking 75 mg of zinc for about 5 months now, and am just getting to chelation. My hair test resembled an " all low " profile. I am wondering if maybe my copper could have been low to begin with, and all the zinc I have been taking for 5 months without chelating is driving it lower. Maybe not...My new MD is familiar with Andy's work, so I will talk to her about this on the 14th. I showed her my hair analysis, and she told me that I was mercury toxic! I am lucky to finally have found an excellent MD! We both hired the same dentist to have our amalgams replaced too. :-) It would be good to talk to the MD about it and also to look at some material on zinc and copper deficiency and excess symptoms. I have had a lot of problems with low mineral levels, and copper is one that has been on the low side. I did have RBC testing and it was worth it because I really did not recognize my issue with low mineral levels until I did it. I also have long-standing adrenal issues and an all-low hair test. (ARNP who is recommended by Andy, and whom I use for treatment and advice) does feel I should take some copper (2 mg per day, split into two doses), so I am doing this now. So it is not unheard of, but I would only do it after thinking it through, since it is a synergistic toxin with mercury. -- > Thanks! > > -Olif > > >
Guest guest
This could also be a copper detox, taking anti-copper supplements (except MB, because its a blocker) will take copper out of the tissues and put it in the blood where it is excreted. Thus the symptoms. I got the same thing when I was copper toxic. Also you can be copper toxic and have a low copper in your hair, mine did not rise (thats right RISE) until I started taking supplements to antigonize copper, this is what you would call a long standing hidden copper toxicity, probably had this since childhood. Thanks
