I am just wondering why you are having problems with such a low dose of DMSA. Do you have gut problems. I have noticed that many people who have difficulty with low doses do have significant gut or endocrine issues. > I just want to report that for me this change has made sooooo much > difference and I would recommend people try the 3 hour dosing if they > are still having problems on tiny doses of DMSA. > > However, now I find that I feel OK during the round but bloomin awful > off it! You may want to consider seeing one of the practitioners recommended by Andy in the files section or asking your family doctor to consult with Andy. Just a suggestion. I really don't know what all the factors would be that Andy would take into account before suggesting continuous chelation. J > >

Off round I am feeling lousy and I am now gettin the metallic > taste too. I had this problem in the first 6-8 months of chelation. I felt absolutely horrible off round. In my case, this was only partly the redistribution at the end of the round - those symptoms passed and blurred into a general feeling of awfulness that got worse as the off days continued. I think it is important to follow the recommendation of doing as many days off as on, but you might feel better by lengthening your rounds. I did this pretty early on, increasing by one day at a time. Sometimes it was hard to keep the round going, but it did help. I kept up 4-5 day rounds for a long time. In the past few months I am doing 6-7 days on and 6-7 days off. > This really worries me - I want to start a new round to stop this > mercury floating around my body. No longer than about 2 weeks, I think? Check Moria's site. I think it's worth trying longer rounds to see if that solves the problem. Increase only 1 day at a time to make sure you can tolerate the on-round symptoms and end-of-round symptoms. -- > >
Guest guest
--- Thanks to everyone who commented about this! Am taking it all on board. I think that I may just do the ALA and DMSA 2 hourly when it comes to that time because experimenting could be too stressful for my adrenals for one, and I relly don't worse worsening brain symptoms if I can avoid it. The weeks I did 4 hourly DMSA were not good. TK....I didn't go into detail as I have written it all before. You foilks were very generous with the advice then and I took it. It turned out that 3 hourly just stopped all my symptoms. I have very weak adrenals and even on maximum adrenal support I was getting problems with 6mgs 4 hourly. As I say, that has stopped since increasing the frequency. And to answer someone elses question - I don't think there is any Mercury laft inside my teeth (definitely not under a crown as I had it completely replaced.) As I say my symptoms stopped when increasing to 3 hourly so if I DID have any mercury left, surely I would still be getting the symptoms at 3 hourly?
