Guest guest
Diflucan does not get rid of my yeast. It did nothing. I had to use a different antifungal. There are certain strains of yeast that are not affected by it.Delicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters. Watch the video on AOL Living. Guest guest
I don't often wear tampons. I used to all the time, but even though I am now well and pain free, just the idea of them scares me. So, sometimes while I'm having my period I get an odor. So I use antipirsperant stick on the outside of my jeans. It seems to work well. love, Molly Odor Hey guys, I've got a question for you. Since I stopped wearing underwear, most of my problems have gone away, but I have a new one. My normal female odor can be strong when it builds up...it wasn't as big of a deal when I wore underwear b/c that held it closer to my body, but now it gets on my pants and can be smelled at times when I am walking...or just around. I know that I am not supposed to use soap that often to clean and I rinse everyday in the shower, but what am I to do? Thanks for your help, Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
Every time I use the bathroom I rinse with my squirt bottle. Then wipe with a dampened kleenex. Guest guest
Hmm, I haven't had many symptoms of it lately...I'll bring it up with my doctor though, but I'm diflucan like once a week anyway. -- Re: Odor Sweet odor is supposedly yeast. Guest guest
Ivy, There are also people who think that you can get systemic yeast (candidiasis) and diflucan wouldn't take care of that either, that involves diet and probiotics and sometimes nystatin, which works in the digestive tract rather than the bloodstream. Just a thought. Melinda
Guest guest
I've always thought I had systemic yeast but the docs don't want to prescribe Nystatin for me because they say it's hard on the liver. I'll start taking my probiotics again and talk to the doctor about it again. Arrrgghhh, I'm like the Wonder bread factory! Lol Hugs- Ivy -- Re: Odor Ivy, There are also people who think that you can get systemic yeast (candidiasis) and diflucan wouldn't take care of that either, that involves diet and probiotics and sometimes nystatin, which works in the digestive tract rather than the bloodstream. Guest guest
Thanks for the tip. This seems to have already dramatically cut down the smell to nearly nothing. So simple. > > Thanks for the tip nne, I'll start doing that! > Hugs- > Ivy > > -- RE: Odor > > I always rinse with water and use Kleenex.
