Guest guest
How many of us would go on the show and talk about our vulva's on national television? Just curious as to who would do that. How many would go on stage and say I have had constant yeast infections or discharge? Chronic itching? I asked myself that after I heard about the show. I thought...I should go on it..then I thought..Hmmm..wonder how I would feel to say I have had yeast, bv etc in front of my 200 employees...something to think about...anal itch? discharge, burning,..hmmm Would I or wouldn't I?See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Hmmmm that is a very good question, I think I'm leaning more towards yes that I would go on national television and talk about this. Bottom line we need to make people aware of these chronic debilitating conditions so that we can get adequate health care. Each one of us should e-mail shows and let the writers know we are out there and we want to be heard. ~~ Stay Strong & Open-Minded Re: Tyra Show Curious would you go on the SHOW? Guest guest
Who agrees with this: One of the reasons this is NOT talked about on TV or anywhere else is The way our culture is set up, we are made to believe that sex is the most important thing in a man's life, marriage...etc. AND that a woman has to " put out " . Okay, so if we're saying we can't " put out " , then that means that all those wives ho " have a headache " now have an excuse to NOt have sex with Hubby. They don't look at it as a chance to help us, help their wives. My own boyfriend didn't believe me, he tried to bribe me. The man just have NO IDEA how real this is. They even have handy derogatory names for us like Frigid, This IS a battle, men don't WANt this vocalized so it's no surprise it got cut out of the show. --- caliprincess2369@... wrote: > Hmmmm that is a very good question, I think I'm > leaning more towards yes that I would go on national > television and talk about this. Guest guest
And, yes, I would definitely go on TV and talk about it. People need to be educated. --- Lu wrote: > Who agrees with this: > > One of the reasons this is NOT talked about on TV or > anywhere else is > > The way our culture is set up, we are made to > believe > that sex is the most important thing in a man's > life, > marriage...etc. AND that a woman has to " put out " . > > Okay, so if we're saying we can't " put out " , then > that > means that all those wives ho " have a headache " now > have an excuse to NOt have sex with Hubby. > > They don't look at it as a chance to help us, help > their wives. > > My own boyfriend didn't believe me, he tried to > bribe > me. Guest guest
Hahaha, you rock, ! I've actually found most women are SO open to both hearing about it, discussing it, and once I bring it up they usually have their own personal experiences to share, too. Some of them even have had the problem but didn't know there was a name for it. In fact, I've been surprised at how comfortable most women are about discussing it. Sounds like other folks have had mixed experiences, but seriously, I have been pleasantly surprised when I do discuss it with people how open they are. When someone asks me what is the matter, I explain the IC, LS, LP and VV. Generally, I find about 90% of the people I talk to are more embarrassed about the topic of conversation than I am. > > in Michigan >
