No phone call last night, whew, that was too darn close

for comfort! Been checking the data

reports and so far the person in Houston wasn’t removed from the list, so

have no idea where the liver went – or even if it was good enough for

surgery.

Naturally I couldn’t sleep, so got on my

computer about 2:30am only to find Ken on his, so we im’ed a bit and

calmed each other down. If the

person in Houston did get the liver, that leaves Ken #1 until his blood draw on Thursday. I’m sure his MELD will go down

then and we’ll be in the clear for a while.

What an absolutely absurd thing being listed is! You get dx, can’t wait until you’re

listed, and breathe a sigh of relief once you are, only to find yourself in a

complete panic if it looks like you’re going to be called. Crazy, pure insanity!! Then it’s the battle of yeas vs. nays

– yea do it now, nay not sick enough. Threat of cancer vs.

surgery and immune suppressants for life.
