Guest guest
I had an 11:30 doctor's appointment this morning. Not the greatest time, but I had no choice. So, I checked my bg an extra time or two, all ahead of time, and ate a couple snacks, including a little more than half of what I'd normally eat for lunch, knowing there was a little walk by the time we got in, then out. Well, we got back to the car around 12:30, and I did a check. I was 86. So, I drank a box juice, and ate what amounted to the rest of my lunch, minus half a banana. At 2 PM, I was 115. And this was with no insulin. Not counting my Lantus from bedtime last night. Makes me wonder if a type 1 could do with a lot less insulin, simply by eating small portions and performing some moderate exercise, but also taking Lantus insulin.
