But it had gotten better and has started again since making the change. I probably should not have introduced this change at this time, I did a " jason " . FWIW, the fluid retention seems to have started when I raised to 75 mcg T3, but I went ahead and after some days increased to 87.5, for 3 or 4 days, but couldn't tolerate it, everything seemed to be deteriorating, more joint pain, etc---went back down to 62.5 then slowly raised to 68.75. HC I have been as high as 37.5 (40 on one day I had to stress dose) but weaned back down to 32.5 which is where I'm at now. Temps were stabilized at 98, 98.1, etc. but I havent' taken them for 3 days. BP has lowered back into to my personal normal range. Most of the time since I started HC back in September it has been in the 130s to 140s, even up to 150s (if you want diastolics for that period let me know) It does raise on standing, but not always. 114/71 p 86 125/72 p100 (wed) rose thursday not taken 111/70 p85 sit 116/69 p96 stand (friday) rose 127/71 p92 sit 115/85 p99 stand (saturday) fell 109/71 p 84 sit 115/76 p 94 stand (this morning) rose Sorry this is so long, but I'm still trying different things, as can't get stable with anything for more than a few days. Guest guest
I think I would hold the thyroid where it is an work on getting the HC down a bit more. Once you are at 30MG for 5 days then I would RAISE the thyroid, either Thyroid-S or Cytomel but with those low temps hypo is contributing to this. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
So you don't necessarily think it is a mistake to try to get back to thyroid-S at this point? I was still feeling hypothyroid and low cortisol symptoms at 87.5 T3 and 37.5 HC. Couldn't tell if I was still too low, or if I had overshot. At NO dose I've been on have I felt really well. Does anyone end up on some dessicated thyroid with some T3? I'm still worried about the extra iodine in the T4 in dessicated thyroid, but want to try. It seems like its time. sol T wrote: > I think I would hold the thyroid where it is an work on getting the HC > down a bit more. Guest guest
But you never got your temps to 98.6? If nto you may stil have RT3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

The fluid retention started after raising T3 to 75 mcg. Got way worse after raising T3 to 87.5. By then I was in panic mode and thought I should reduce T3, and raise HC. How much RT3 could I have just from a few months of armour then crashing adrenals? I have never taken T4 only. How fast can one develop RT3? I know this is speculative because of no RT3 testing, but I'm curious if there is a general " rule " about RT3 rising. sol

Guest guest
Ah, but it is now a coined phrase...to be used perpetually. A year from now it's use will spread and we will see it on a popular sitcom ...... Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
