Guest guest
rT3 cleared about two months ago and still I can't find balance, I feel lots of ups and downs. I increased T3 a few days ago (to 62,5) because I was feeling hypo, I felt an improvement but now I feel very, very hypo again, with eyes dry like sandpaper and lots of back pain (which was one of the few symptoms which actually resolved very well even with synthroid). Despite feeling very hypo my pulse has gone up even to 120.... So I feel very poorly and confused. Basal temps have been going up and down very much also. I haven't been very good lately taking my daily average temperature, but the little I have checked seemed stable. I have been somewhat stressed the last few days and been sleeping little which always affects me a lot, so I wonder if it's my adrenals causing all this fast changes. Since clearance I have been reducing HC dose with no apparent trouble and I am now at 22.5. However if the problem is with adrenals I wonder whether is low or high cortisol... The only thing I can say for sure is that before clearance I was loosing weight by the day and felt often nauseous (which I interpreted as low cortisol) and right after clearance weight loss stopped immediately (in fact I started putting on all the weight I had lost during the previous three months on T3 only) and I don't feel nauseous anymore, so something clearly changed at that point. I am worried... Shouldn't I be feeling better already??? Is this " normal " ? I did notice clearance very much, temps climbed and weight loss stopped, etc... but I don't seem to find my sweet spot... Many thanks,
Guest guest
That weight losss stopped tells me the thyroi dstopped gettingot the cells, in other words the new higher thyroud levels is using more cortils than yo have available, I would increase HC a bti and graph those temps again for a few days. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
But Val, weight loss was not a good thing for me, I was loosing weight to the verge of becoming too thin and I had nausea at the same time. I think then is when cortisol was low! Now I weight 54 Kg (119 pounds) and I think this is more or less my ideal weight. All this changed after clearance, I felt better and more stable. Now is different, I don't lose weight, I don't feel nauseous, I just feel hypo but with a high pulse rate... Could it be high cortisol instead what is making me feel like this... I just seem to be unable to find the balance, with thyroid and adrenals interfering with each other... Thank you very much!!! > > That weight losss stopped tells me the thyroi dstopped gettingot the > cells, in other words the new higher thyroud levels is using more > cortils than yo have available, I would increase HC a bti and graph > those temps again for a few days. > > -- >
Guest guest
Well I ahve never used weight loss or gain to manage cortiosl. it is unreliable. Yoiu ned to graph tmep snad check BPO sitting and standing to knwo what is going on. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
O.K., I just checked my BP sitting and standing, it was more or less the same, around 102/63. Basal temperatures have been changing a lot (partly because my rising hour has been changing quite a lot too from one day to the other). I haven't been very good at taking average daily temps lately, but the little I checked they were quite stable. I will try to be more systematic checking temps. Many thanks, Val, for your suggestions, > > Well I ahve never used weight loss or gain to manage cortiosl. it is > unreliable.
