Guest guest
Are you taking anything for the hypot etc and what supplements made you shake? Tammy Vitamins/Anyone please! Why would vitamins cause me to shake? I can't take supplements because they are causing me to feel shakey and increase heart palpitations. I am hypothyroid with high RT3 and low ferritin. I am unsure if I have an adrenal issue yet. Help!!------------------------------------We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
If it's a multi-vitamin you are taking: many here (including me) have had trouble with multi vitamins, here's a post from Val on the subject: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/41698 > > Why would vitamins cause me to shake? Guest guest
Be sure to check all the additives and fillers in your supplements. Carrageenan is known to cross react for those who have gluten sensitivities and is often added as a gluten free thickener. Maltodextrin (used to allow flow of powdered supplements) has excitotoxin properties and citric acid, although it seems should just be from lemons often comes from corn. Worse than just from corn if it is in the citric acid form it has been hydrolyzed and that equals excitotoxin. For those who are extremely sensitive to free glutamates even the gelatin capsule can cause heart palpitations. If any of your supplements have these ingredients they could be causing a negative reaction. Guest guest
Which multi was it? Does it have iodine in it? I had low ferritin and weak adrenals and reacted really badly to iodine. Magnesium is calming. Magnesium oil can be rubbed on the skin over the heart area to help with palpitations. You need vit C to help absorb iron. Are you taking lots of it?
