Guest guest
I feel the same way. When my heart rate is in the 70's, I feel hyper even though that's exactly where it should be. Also, when my temps get to 98.1 or so, I feel hot even though it's still low. After decades of a resting heart rate of 60 and temps in the mid 96's, it becomes your 'normal'. I'd rather feel a bit tired than wired... Judy I'm even feeling twinges of hyper at times, though I wonder if maybe that's just the rest of the world's normal, and I've never felt it, or at least not in a long time Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com

Guest guest
military docs have the absolute worst reputation for not knowing anything but to dole out Ibuprofen and send you to nutrition classes! ////////////////// Amen!!!! Why is it they think Ibuprofen will cure ANYTHING!!!!! You should see the huge bottles of it that I have all over my house-and I can't even take it!!! ____________________________ in *cool again* Jerseyopen proximal rny 9/18/015'9"-31yo297/168I'm not a doc-in real life or otherwise. Guest guest
I have to agree with both of you. We are Tricare Prime Remote right now (and far away from military docs) and I am getting probably the best care I have had in years! Things also move a whole lot faster too. It used to take forever to get referrals and then to finally be seen or have the tests done. Here, I went from blood work to RAIU/scan in 5 days. And now the ablation a month after having the blood work. I could have had the ablation done the week following but I wanted to look into other things and also had to work around DH's work schedule. It's going to be hard to go back to military docs in 2 years. Guest guest
Me, I go for msm. It's transdermal if you take it that way, and digests easy if you take it the other way. It's way quicker pain relief than the other stuff. Guest guest
TSH 2.06 (0.380-4.00) FT4 0.92 (0.70-1.90 ng/dL) FT3 2.4 (2.1-3.8 pg/mL) RT3 237 (90-350 pg/mL) Ferritin 126 (0-73 ng/mL) Yes your FT3/RT3 ratio is 2060/237= 8.69 which is horrid. Needs ot be at least 20. I would start with 6.25 (1/4 tab) four times a day am, noon, 4PM and bedtoime and increase it every 3-5 days as you can tolerate. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
I just got new lab results Have been on HC/T3 since December. Curious as to why the Iron Saturation is high. The last blood work, it was 18. Could it be time to start weaning off HC, and/or should I increase the Erfa? I have no Thyroid function. Current labs: Free T4 - .42 LOW (.82-1.77) TSH - .008 LOW (.450-4.500) Reverse T3 - 63 Low (90-350) Free T3 - 5.6 High (2.0-4.4) Vit D 56.1 (32-100) Ferritin, 92 (13-150) Magnesium RBC 6.1 (4.2-6.8) Iron Bind Cap 241 LOW (250-450) UIBC 73 LOW (150-375) Iron, Serum HIGH 168 (35-155) Iron Saturation 70 HIGH (15-55) Previous Thyroid Labs 3/10 Free T4 - .73 LOW (.82-1.77) TSH 3.170 Reverse T3 - 120 (90-350) Free T3 -3.2 (2.0-4.4) Currently on 1 grain Erfa, 62mcg Cytomel, 20mg HC. Temps are consistently 98.5, no Hyper symptoms. Also have noticed, it seems my goiters have decreased in size.

Guest guest
No. No iron supplements. I was previously on Armour(old formula) and the Dr. was not supportive of just T3. Prior to beginning HC/T3 - I switched to Erfa and reduced it to 1 grain. > > > > I just got new lab results Have been on HC/T3 since December. Curious as to why the Iron Saturation is high.
