Guest guest
OK, will do. Just took BP & it was 133/78 & pulse was 99!! Ugh. I haven't taken my 2nd dose of T3 yet bc I am concerned re: pulse. My MCV was elevated & my MCHC was below normal both of which mean iron deficiency as best as I can tell from my research. I started taking Floradix today for my iron on recommendation of my naturopath. Do you think I should take next dose of T3 or should I wait? Also do you think I should try 5 x a day dosing of 15 mcg each of T3 or stick w the 4 x a day dosing? I had gone down to 22.5 mg of HC but was feeling very tired & drained so I raised it bk up to the 25 mg. I have been on HC for 1 yr now. I just want to be able to stay on the T3. I have been on it for 5 months now. I have lost total of 15 lbs to date. Have quite a bit to go & don't want to go bk on the weight gaining wagon! Thnx Val. Looking forward to your reply. Guest guest
I had gotten a full iron panel bk in April when Ferritin was at 89 which showed everything to be great, so it was not falsely elevated. The results were as follows: Ferritin 89 Iron Binding Capacity 330 range of 250-450 UIBC 191 range of 150-375 Iron, Serum 139 range of 35-155 Iron Saturation 42 range of 15-55 I haven't been supplementing too much since then w iron on my own bc most iron pills make me nauseaous & tear thru my stomach. I prolly should have been tho in light of my Ferritin dropping. Rats! I wonder why I am not holding on to the iron?? I stopped eating red meat. Could that have something to do w it? My periods have been heavy but not as much as before. Nothing else on my current labs is flagged. Any thoughts? Thnx Val. C. > > Hey Val. Just got my latest labs. Little bk of bkgrnd. Guest guest
OK, thnx. Guess I will stick w/ the 4 x a day dosing. Do you think I should take any more T3 today w my pulse being 99 or should I just let it calm down rest of day & start again tomorrow? Do you think I should scale bk down to the 70 mcg?
