Guest guest
Is this anything to be concerned with for someone taking both lecithin and taurine? Suggest an adverse effect of taurine administration on phosphatidylcholine hepatic synthesis. - Experientia 1986 Apr 15;42(4):407-8 -- Effect of taurine administration on liver lipids in guinea pig. -- Cantafora A, Mantovani A, Masella R, Mechelli L, Alvaro D. Usually doses used are way more than would ever be considered normal. Sometimes the conclusions drawn don't follow from the experimental data. If you have the whole paper you could send it to me direct. I supplement lecithin and taurine and am not concerned. > Suggest an adverse effect of taurine administration on > phosphatidylcholine hepatic synthesis. > - Experientia 1986 Apr 15;42(4):407-8 -- Effect of taurine > administration on liver lipids in guinea pig. -- Cantafora A, > Mantovani A, Masella R, Mechelli L, Alvaro D. >

Hepatic synthesis may not be working properly anyway, and you can control your level of PC by taking it in supplement form. --
