Nick wrote an excellent answer to this question in an earlier post:

" The concerns about SHBG and testosterone come from body builders who

are abusing both substances, they want high T levels to build muscle

and at the same time hyper levels of T3 to speed their metabolism and

lose weight. They find that they are not getting the " benefit " of the

testosterone they supplement when they also take T3 to the hyper

extent because going hyper increases SHBG.

Normal levels of circulating Ft3 give the same levels of SHBC as a

normal person who has the same levels of T3 naturally. "
