re:pediatrician recommendation

Thank you for those suggestions. I was surprised by one of the suggestions; we

had met this doctor once and was shocked by his demeaning attitude towards

parents (this was with a newborn, not even a child on the spectrum!). I'd

observed him in the hospital setting and was glad we had never joined the

practice.

Anyway, I was looking for gentle, kind doctors who encourage parents, not

belittle them. The staff at our current office seems to think that autistic

children are also intelligence-impaired, which is often not the case. I guess

I'm looking for a doctor who is more proactive- I'll be calling Dr. Udell's

office and two other doctors this week. Thank you.
