Yeah I hate it when I am talking with someone and go completely blank on simple

words. I feel like I am 80 years old and my memory is just plain shot instead

of 42 and should still have a good memory.

Re: Speech problems and cortisol weaning?

I too have problems writing anything neatly anymore. Used to be my boys

and ex would have me write anything cuz my writing was real pretty and neat.

NOT anymore. It looks more like chicken scratch now. I hate that. And my

spelling recall has gone down the tubes. I cannot remember how to spell

words that I could just a few years ago. I am hoping once I get the thyroid

and adrenals optimized that some of that will come back.

I am 42 also and I meant " simple " below, not " since " , lol. I guess that is a

good example of another problem I have with writing. Ha! Cheri

What is really bad is when you can't remember since words like " car " and

thepeople you are trying to communicate with either think you are insane or

on drugs. ;)

I never had a hint of dyslexia for my whole life until the past few

years and it's mostly with numbers. I never knew to attribute it to

adrenals, but why not. Evil little glands.

Same here, used to be a good speller and a good writer and had an

excellent memory. All much in decline over the past few years. I'm

hoping to get some of it back. Never had good handwriting though.

Or when your husband thinks you just aren't answering, but the problem

is you just can't get your mouth to work to form the words.
