Guest guest
I will be getting all 3 (remaining) amalgams replaced in approximately 2 months. At the same sitting the dentist shall place crowns (zirconium, metal free)for the 3 teeth. I have started specific supplementation based on Andy's book since a week ago (I have been taking other supplements for general health). The dentist is listed in the IAOMT web site and follows pretty much all the necessary protocol. Instead of Vit C IV given during the removal, the dentist will give it just after the procedure. But I was told that the IV will contain Glutathione. When I showed concern, she said it was 'reduced glutathione' and then she proceeded to list its benefits (which I did not quite understand, since I am fairly new to the supplementation aspects and sometimes the jargon just goes over my head! Should I be concerned about 'reduced'glutathione? I am pretty sure if I insist they will not use it. Could you guide me as to what exactly I should request to be put in the IV (ie besides just Vit C)?

Don't let anyone put any type of glutathione in you. Some people get away with it sometimes, but you don't want to be the one who has a horrible reaction. If they give vitamin C IVs routinely they should know how to prepare them. Andy discusses vitamin C IVs on p 91-92 of Amalgam Illness. Insist that they not use it AND that they let you watch them prepare the IV and they tell you everything they are putting in. > >Could you guide me as to what exactly I > > should request to be put in the IV (ie besides just Vit C)? 25-50 grams of vitamin C. It is usually called " ascorbic acid for injection " but has been buffered to neutral pH and is thus really sodium ascorbate. They do need to put in some magnesium and calcium. Otherwise you don't NEED other stuff but if they want to put in B complex or minerals and trace elements it is fine. > Just ask them to be sure to leave out the glutathione. And watch them prepare it to make sure the really do - they're used to doing it that way, they go on autopilot when putting it all together. > If they give vitamin C IVs routinely they should know how to prepare > them.
