Guest guest
Kimmi, When changing to a very healthy diet, it is common to feel worse before feeling better (for quite a while sometimes!). It's sort of a cleansing reaction - the body is ridding itself of the toxins and junk and gluten. That can manifest very negatively for a time. If giving up all sugar and doing an anti-yeast kind of diet, there can be a very bad die- off reaction (I believe called the Herxheimer reaction) and so many people give up on healthy ways of eating because of this. Give your body a chance to adjust - I have eaten icky junk for 25 years and just recently started an anti-yeast diet - so I feel pretty icky digestively right now, but that's because my body is trying to cleanse, and also because it is crying out for sugar and all the things I am denying it. Gluten and sugar can actually change our cell structures and cause us to crave them (much like narcotics). Melinda
Guest guest
Arline, no new meds. I was wondering...are there vitamins in whole wheat that I am now NOT getting? The pain started off really slow at the beginning of the week and now is HUGE. I am thinking a deficiency of some kind? Kimmi Be a better Heartthrob.
