That is what I did when I used the One Touch, but I cannot do it with the

Accu-Check.

Hi Eunice,

I saw the diabetic educator show different techniques for various

lancets. Not sure what Accu-Check looks like but she would just stick

the sharp into anywhere on the plastic tip. Now I could never do it

just like she did but then she had years of practice with various ones

LOL! I guess you just do whatever you can and not worry about it. I

think I remember you put yours in a container anyway so that's

probably safe enough. Have a great day!
